Increase Your Adsense And Afilliate Earnings With The Right Simple System

Just writing your content will not ensure that you earn money online. Even just writing your blog, website content or hubpages does not guarantee that people will even visit them. When i first started about a year ago I put up my first website monetized with Google AdSense and waited for the money to roll in. It never happened, in fact i got about 1 visitor a day with that first site but was determined to not give up. I knew there was way to get people to my websites and hubpages that would click the AdSense ads or buy the affiliate products i was offering. Once i figured it out I took my Google Adsense earnings to an average of $1000 per month and a few hundred in affiliate earnings as well. Not a huge million dollar pay day but enough to change my life style in a good way!

I bought a ton of ebooks, joined membership courses that promised the world and then it hit me. After cycling through all the crap i found a system that worked for me and it works very well. I will out line the system below in hopes that it will help struggling authors and other people trying to make money online reach their goals. The information may not be what some people agree with but it does work for me. So without further ramblings here is my system.

First you need to know what people are looking for. this is done easily with some simple keyword research. Alot of people put tons of time and effort into keyword research. In my opinion i would rather do something productive then run theoretical tests all day! With that in mind I head over to the Google Keyword tool and enter in the main keyword i am writing about. For example if i am writing about "Credit Repair" i will enter "Credit Repair" in the keyword box. Next i set the keyword options to exact match and hit enter. I look for keywords that have at least 300 monthly searches and medium to little competition. The Google tool shows monthly searches and the average competing web pages.

I then head over to the FREE keyword tool at word tracker and do the same thing. Only difference is at word tracker they show daily searches and you have to take the keywords and enter them into a Google search to see the competition. I will also enter the keyword in quotes like this "credit repair" this will return alot less competing pages but it does tell me a little closer how many other web pages are competing for this same term. If you get results under 10,000 its pretty easy to rank for in most cases, unless the sites listed are wikipedia, cnn.com and sites like that. In an instance like that move onto the next keyword because those sites are almost impossible to knock off.

With this method i will get my keyword list together and start to write my hubpagess, website content or blog posts. If i am having trouble writing articles I will use this awesome tool that has helped me tremendously when i have writers block or a in a jam.

Once i have my site or blog up and going i head over to www.digg.com and social bookmark it here and at www.propeller.com. I then wait for them to get indexed at Google, this normally takes 24-48 hours after bookmarking them. Hubpages usually index much faster since Google crawls them more frequently. If you are making a blog also make sure to ping them at www.pingomatic.com or www.pingmyblog.com pinging lets Google know you updated your blog and they will send their Google Bots to check it out.

Site indexing means that Google is aware your site or blog, or hub exists and puts it in their database. The easiest way to check this is to enter site:youweburl.com in a Google search. If your site pops up you are indexed. It may not index all your pages at one time put as long as the home page is there its on to the next step.

I then write a few articles about the subject matter at hand. I keep these article at about 300 words and write one per day for the next 10 days. After each one is submitted i submit them to the top article directories that consist of the following directories. Article marketing is a powerful way to drive traffic to your sites and gain back links. However it does take a not to explain in detail, and while i may do a separate article on it i feel the best place to get that information is this Ebook which has taught me a TON of valuable information and totally paid for itself many times over!

Ezinearticles (this is by far the best)

ArticleDashboard

Amazines

Goarticles

ArticleCube

I always submit to ezinearticles first then 48 hours later i submit to the rest of them. I use a tool called Article Post Robot that allows to me to spin the article, title and resource box to be different at each article directory.

Once i have my article submitted i move on to the next key word in my niche and start the process over. While it may seem like i did not reveal any super duper secrets to you i did tell you how to apply yourself and get traffic to your blog or website quickly, easily and consistently. And that is the key to making money online, hard work and consistency.

Top 5 Ways To Generate Low Cost Website Traffic

There is one hard and fast rule in generating income for your website: A steady flow of website traffic. If no one goes to your site, it hardly bares a chance of generating an income. Many sites have tried and failed in doing so, and these results to the sites demise. It takes money to maintain an income generating site; it also takes money to make money.

BUT, it doesn’t take a whole caboodle of cash to generate website traffic for your site.

Ever wonder how does big hit sites drive traffic top their site? Most of them are spending tons of money to drive the traffic to their sites, investing in many advertising campaigns and different forms of marketing schemes and gimmickries. This is all worthwhile because, well, they are what they are now, high earning, big hitting websites.

You don’t have to do this if you don’t really have their resources. There are many ways to generate low cost website traffic without having to spend what you don’t have or can’t afford. Many people have banked on high cost methods and have ended up losing their shirt over it.

Here I present to you the Top five ways to generate low cost website traffic that could help your site a whole lot. Even if you only get a small percentage of successful visitors in to client ratio it still works especially if you get a high number of website traffic.

Exchange Links

This is a sure and proven method. Rarely would you see a site where there is no link to another site. Many webmasters are willing to exchange links with one another so that they could produce more public awareness about their sites. You’ll soon see and feel the sudden upsurge of the traffic coming in to your site from other sites.

A major prerequisite in exchanging links with other sites is having the same niche or content as the other site. They should share a common subject so that there is continuity in the providing of service and information to what interests your target traffic.

Exchanging links also boosts your chances of getting a high ranking in search engine results. It is common knowledge that search engines ranks high sites that have inbound and outbound theme-related links. With a good ranking position in the search engines, you will generate more traffic on your website without the high costs.

Traffic Exchange

This is like exchanging links but on a different higher level. This may cost a bit more than exchanging or trading links but could be made cheaper because you get to earn credits. You can use those credits when viewing others traffic, while you earn credits when someone views yours.

Traffic exchange services are the viewing of another’s site or page. This is done vice versa where a site can use your sites contents and so can you to his or her site. You both benefit from each others efforts to generate traffic. The other sites visitors can go to your pages and know more about your site as well as theirs. Once again the public awareness of your sites existence is boosted.

Write and Submit Articles

There are many e-zines and online encyclopedias in the internet which provides free space for articles to be submitted. If you want to save costs, you can do the articles yourself. There are many freelance writers who are willing to write for you for a small fee, but to save money, it is wise to do those articles yourself.

Write articles that are themed along with the niche of your site. Write something that you have expertise on so that when they read it, they can feel your knowledge about the subject and will be eager to go to your site. Write articles that produce tips and guidelines to the subject or niche your site has.

Include a resource box at the end of your article that can link them to your site. Write a little about yourself and your site. If you provide a light, information-laden and interesting article, they will go to your site for more.

Make a Newsletter.

This may sound like hard work because of all the articles you may need to use to build a newsletter but on the contrary, this is not so. There are many writers and sites that are willing to provide free articles as long as they can get their name in on your newsletter. This will also provide free advertising for them as well.

As your newsletter gets pass around, you can widen your public awareness and build an opt-in list that can regularly visit your site.

Join Online Communities and Forums

This only requires your time and nothing else. You can share your knowledge and expertise with many online communities as well as your website. You can get free advertising when you go to forums that have the same subject or niche with your site.

Share your two cents and let them see how knowledgeable you are with the subject. As you build your reputation, you also build the reputation of your site, making it a reputable and honest business that could be frequented and trusted by many people.

These principles have been used to great effect on this ebook marketing website. Start using these principles today and you too will create low cost website traffic.

Search Engine Friendly Pages

There is no point in building a website unless there are visitors coming in. A major source of traffic for most sites on the Internet is search engines like Google,Yahoo!, MSN, Altavista and so on. Hence, by designing a search engine friendly site, you will be able to rank more easily in search engines and obtain more visitors.

Major search engines use programs called crawlers or robots to index websites to list on their search result pages. They follow links to a page, reads the content of the page and record it in their own database, pulling up the listing as people search for it.

If you want to make your site indexed easily, you should avoid using frames on your website. Frames will only confuse search engine robots and they might even abandon your site because of that. Moreover, frames make it difficult for users to bookmark a specific page on your site without using long, complicated scripts.

Do not present important information in Flash movies or in images. Search engine robots can only read text on your source code so if you present important words in Flash movies and images rather than textual form, your search engine ranking will be affected dramatically.

Use meta tags accordingly on each and every page of your site so that search engine robots know at first glance what that particular page is about and whether or not to index it. By using meta tags, you are making the search engine robot's job easier so they will crawl and index your site more frequently.

Stop using wrong HTML tags to style your page. Use CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) instead because they are more effective and efficient. By using CSS, you can eliminate redundant HTML tags and make your pages much lighter and faster to load.

I have followed these few simple rules over at my ebook business to great benefit You can do the same to ensure that your Website is more search engine friendly.

Five Easy Ways To Get Free Website Traffic

Website Traffic is Essential

Here are Five Ways to get Traffic at Low Cost

When it comes to making money from your Website there is one rule that must be obeyed. That rule is that you must be able to generate a steady stream of Visitors. It stands to reason that you will not be able to make any money if no-one arrives at your site to see what you have to offer.

This has been the demise of many a fledgling online business. They have tried but without success. It is a fact that you require money to advance an income generating Website. It is also the fact that it takes capital to make money. And this is where many have failed. They have not had the cash to invest in getting traffic to their site.

HOWEVER

Generating traffic to your website does not take a huge bundle of cash if you know how to go about it.

It is true that the ‘Big Guns’ can drive huge amounts of traffic to their online businesses by investing very large amounts of money on sophisticated advertising campaigns and the many different marketing schemes available and even by using gimmicks. For them this is definitely worth the money they spend after all this is what has got them to the point they are today - with high volumes of traffic and huge profits they have become online Mega sites.

But don’t be discouraged. You don’t have to spend mega bucks to succeed if you don’t have the necessary resources. Sadly there have been many people who have ‘lost the very shirt off their backs’ because they have depended on using high cost ways of promoting their website when they really could not afford it.

This does not need to be the case as there are several ways to generate traffic to your website without spending the fortune that you can’t afford or do not have. Here are 5 Ways to Generate Traffic at Low Cost.

These methods could vastly improve your website traffic statistics. If only a small percentage of visitors convert to becoming clients it works well especially if your traffic is way beyond your present levels.

1. Get Good Quality Links pointing to your site: Well how do you do this? - Exchanging links is still a useful method. It is very rare that you come across a site that has no link to another site. Exchanging Links enables web-masters to expose their site to the net more readily and thus ensuring that their site comes to the fore in the public eye. Perhaps a more desired linking method these days is One way Linking. This is where you encourage other good quality, high ranking websites to link to your site. One excellent way of doing this is submitting your site to as many Directory sites as you can. There are usually several Directories in most niche subjects.

Most online marketers are willing to exchange links and Directories will usually accept your submission but a VERY IMPORTANT factor is that you link to ‘relevant’ sites i.e. ones that fit with what you are promoting. It will be detrimental if you link with a company promoting ‘pig food’ if you are trying to sell high quality jewelry or if you submit your site to a Directory promoting ‘belly dance costumes’ if your niche is gardening. Your traffic will not appreciate that.

It is important that linking sites have a common purpose, a continuity in the provision of information or a service that interests their target traffic. If you ignore this factor the Search engines won’t like it either and you will fail to make any headway.

One of the key benefits of linking strategies is that the Search engines put a high significance on your linking popularity. They see all the ‘back links’ and consider you to be an important site to be reckoned with. As a result they increase your ranking and you move up their listings. As you move higher in the rankings your site will be seen by more surfers and you will get more ‘organic’ traffic that doesn’t cost you anything.

2. Write Your own Articles and Submit them to E-zines - If you search the internet you will find many online encyclopedias and e-zines which allow you to submit articles for free. If you cannot write yourself there are my freelance writers who, for a small fee, are willing to write articles for you. However if you want to save money you can write them yourself.

Once again it is important to stress that any article you write should coincide with the theme of your site. Everyone has expertise on something - write about what you know. If you do this those that read your articles will ‘feel’ your knowledge and will eagerly visit your site. It is a good idea to write articles that contain guidelines or tips on the subject matter of your website. Write an interesting, information packed, article and they will be hurrying to your site for more.

All that you need to do then, and this is very important, is to provide a resource box at the end of your article that links them back to your website. You could write a little about your site or you could simply place a link.

3. Traffic Exchange - What is ‘Traffic Exchange’? The principle of traffic exchange services is that a website set up for the purpose receives submissions from web-masters that join the network. The person who submitted the website then earns credits by browsing other member sites on the exchange program. These credits then allow the web-master to have his site viewed by other members in the system. This means that all of the sites involved have an increases in the number of visitors to their sites.

There may be a cost involved but very often these web exchange sites are free. Generally traffic exchange programs are used by small business owners who are working on a low budget and need free or low cost advertising. And they can be a good source of traffic if used correctly.

There is a note of caution however. You should choose carefully which traffic exchange site you use. It has been said that the usefulness of some of these programs is doubtful as sites are forgotten by many people once the time limit is up. Also some say it is risky to use these as it can get you banned ~from some advertising packages and some traffic exchanges use forms of advertising that are banned. However if you choose carefully there shouldn’t be any problem.

4. Create a Newsletter - Your first thought might be that this sounds like hard work. It is true that you do need to use a lot of articles to successfully build a Newsletter. But contrary to what you may think this is not difficult.

There are many websites and copywriters who are more than eager to provide you with free articles. Their only stipulation is that you place their name at the foot of their article. Your Newsletter brings you more traffic and gives the copywriter more advertising.

Your letter gets passed around and as it does more and more people become aware of your internet presence. Producing a Newsletter is great as, when folk sign up, it builds an ‘opt-in’ emailing list of interested parties who can revisit your site time and time again.

5. Online Communities and Forum Memberships - Joining these sites does not cost you anything but your time. You share your expertise and knowledge on your website - why not with online communities and Forums. As before, choose Forums that deal with the same niche or subject as your own website.

Publish your two cents worth and amaze other members with your knowledge about your particular subject. This has the effect of building your reputation. Then as your reputation grows so does the reputation of your website. Your Website eventually becomes known for the honest and reputable business that you have known it is all along. It will then begin to be trusted and visited by many relevant visitors who, because they have come to trust you will take advantage of what you offer.

So there you have it. Five very useful ways to increase traffic to your site. On my site I am using all five strategies to great effect. Why don't YOU Start today, don’t delay and you will definitely see your business grow.

Importance Of The Page Title

Use Keywords In Page Titles

It is recommended to use keywords in page titles itself. This title tag is different from a Meta tag, but it's worth considering it in relation to them. Whatever text one places in the title tag will appear in the title bar of browsers when they view the web page. Some browsers also append whatever you put in the title tag by adding their own name, as for example Microsoft's Internet Explorer or OPERA.

The actual text you use in the title tag is one of the most important factors in how a search engine may decide to rank your web page. In addition, all major web crawlers will use the text of your title tag as the text they use for the title of your page in your listings.

If you have designed your website as a series of websites or linked pages and not just a single Home Page, you must bear in mind that each page of your website must be search engine optimized. The title of each page i.e. the keywords you use on that page and the phrases you use in the content will draw traffic to your site.

The unique combination of these words and phrases and content will draw customers using different search engine terms and techniques, so be sure you capture all the keywords and phrases you need for each product, service or information page.

The most common mistake made by small business owners when they first design their website is to place their business name or firm name in every title of every page. Actually most of your prospective customers do not bother to know the name of your firm until after they have looked at your site and decided it is worth book marking.

So, while you want your business name in the title of the home page, it is probably a waste of valuable keywords and space to put it in the title line of every page on your site. Why not consider putting keywords in the title so that your page will display closer to the top of the search engine listing.

Dedicating first three positions for keywords in title avoiding the stop words like ‘and’, ‘at’ and the like is crucial in search engine optimization.

Tips To Increase Traffic To Your Website

All websites need traffic to succeed, most new website publishers are lost when it comes to driving traffic to their sites and think of it as some sort of black magic secret that is difficult and impossible to do. Nothing could be further from the truth and the easy tips i listed below will hopefully get you going in the right direction

Tip #1

To get maximum one way back links to your site article marketing is by far the best. By submitting unique article to the top directories you get one way links in your author resource box and also links from other webmasters who use your article on there site. The rules say an webmasters using your articles for reprint should leave your resource links in place and in tact, about 60% actually do this but it is well worth it. Submitting 1-2 articles per day based around LOW COMPETITION keywords is the best way. By low competition i mean you should not target the word REFINANCE but instead target a more specific term like CANI REFINANCE WHEN BEHIND ON MY MORTGAGE by doing this your article will more then likely appear on the first page of Google because not many other pages optimize for that term but many do for REFINANCE. In order to find low competition keywords a tool like keyword elite will save you lots of time and gives you not only daily search amounts but also competing page amounts for actual keywords. A tool like this will really let you zero in on low competition keywords and increase your traffic.

The top Article Directories I submit to are as follows:

http://www.ezinearticles.com/

http://www.articlecity.com/

http://www.buzzle.com/

http://www.articlecube.com/

http://www.articledashboard.com/

http://www.goarticles.com/ (had a recent PR reduction to PR3 but i get traffic from them)

Always remember to submit original articles to the directories and always use anchor text links in your resource box and write articles around low competition keywords for the maximum effectiveness.

Tip #2

Aside from just writing articles for the article directories you can also approach a webmaster of
a higher PR 4 or higher website that fits your niche and ask them for a one way link to your site in exchange for a unique article. The y basically give you a one way link for your 400 or more word article. Its a win win situation. Although do not settle for a link on some page labeled resources or links, you want a home page or content anchor text link with the keyword of your choice.

Tip #3

The next easy thing to do is to submit your site to free web directories, its easy to do and very
effective. Keep in mind that alot of free web directories require a link back to there site before
they will add you, the alternative is to pay to have your link added. A paid link is added much
faster and generally will not require a back link. It can however get expensive. A great tool
that can make directory submission very fast and easy is directory submitter pro.

Tip #4

Placing classified ads at US Free Ads is another way to get one way links and more traffic to
your site. For $12 a year you can have up to 40 ads running all pointing to your website with
anchor text links. Or for $10 a month you can have unlimited ads. For US Free Ads I write a
250-300 word article and include one anchor text link to a content page on my site and one to an ezine article that i wrote. If you chose low competition keywords your ads will in most cases show up on the first page of Google within an hour, i have had ads appear in 5 minutes at times! Google currently loves us free ads so it is worth taking the time to utilize it. Plus the extra link juice to your articles helps them place well.

Tip #5

Even though they are considered out dated and ineffective you can still get some traffic from
reciprocal links. using a service like link market is a way to get RELATED links to your site.
The only drawback to this service is that you will get many requests for links. I have limited my
self to only taking PR 4 links and higher and only request 5 a week or so. That way you will
build them more slowly and can be more picky. I stop when my link page hits 100 of these. No
reason just a number i have in my head and since it is perceived Google frowns on pages of links
100 is a safe bet.

Tip #6

Posting comments to high blogs with a PR of 3 and higher is another great way to get one way anchor text back links. To do this just put your anchor text in the box for your name and then your website link. Just be sure that the comment you add actually is useful and not just a general "great post" comment. Also make sure that the blog does not have a nofollow attribute for links, this can be found in the source code.

Tip #7

A quick post on San Francisco craigslist in the real estate section is a great way to get a high PR one way back link. Only problem is that it expires after 30 days so use them for getting a site indexed quickly or just add new ones every 30 days. I usually write a 200 word blurb about my service and use and anchor text link in the ad. Offer something unique and you may even get some phone calls!

Tip #8

Social bookmarking is a great way to gain back links and get some traffic to your site. Social bookmarking is basically a place where users can submit websites and page s they like. The most popular is http://www.digg.com/ a good article that gets dugg to the front page can bring you thousands of visitors. To do this esily try the free tools at http://www.onlywire.com/ and www.ekstreme.com/socializer these will make submitting your site to the social bookmarking sites fast and easy.

Although there are many more ways to get traffic to your site these are the easiest and have been the most effective for me and hopefully they will help you to!
